ZALT Signature blends feature sea salt which is solar evaporated using time honored methods. Our Artisan farmers, harness the perfect convergence of pristine waters, coastal winds and equatorial sunshine, unique to the Zanzibar Archipelago. We only use locally sourced produce, which we dehydrate in-house to our precise requirements. This means we lock in all the flavour and nutrients at the peak of their freshness. All blends are all natural, vegan and gluten free.

Choma was the first blend we ever created at ZALT. It was inspired by the aromas of smoky, Swahili grills that fill the air at sunset, this is truly the essence of Zanzibar. A combination of hand harvested sea salt, the flavors of garlic and ginger with mustard seeds & toasted coriander seeds - an absolute game changer on beef or chicken!!

Our Pinch Pot offers ZALT in a finer salt crystal, what we like to call Fling ZALT. It is ready straight from the jar. Just pinch and fling. We like our Fling Zalt close at hand and next to the stove when cooking! Fling before, during and after cooking, to perfect your seasoning. These beautiful jars transition perfectly from kitchen to table.
